Training Center Satara is a small scale enterprise run under the leadership and guidance of Department of Sanik Welfare (Maharashtra State) Pune

TCPC is a small-scale industry being run under the aegis of Sainik Welfare Department Pune. This institute since inception in 1959 till 1970 successfully operated training on numerous projects under one roof and thereafter till date is dealing in production of Steel and Wooden Furniture and trading in cloth materials. TCPC has earned its name in Maharsahtra as a self-sustained unit which provides genuinely top-quality furniture which is in tune with latest trends and liking of the customers and also is cost effective. The Unit, from its profit, generously contributes for Army Flag Day Fund which supports rehabilitation and otherwelfare projects for the ex-Servicemen. It is wished that the institute may further grow manifold and participate in service to Nation.

TCPC Satara is operational since 1959. Different kinds of Furniture such as Teak Wood, Plywood and Steel Furniture is being manufactured at this Centre. As also different clothing items are available for sale here. The products are of good quality with commensurate and reasonable pricing. The Centre is generously contributing to Army Flag Day Fund for welfare activities of Ex Servicemen.Satara is a known as Distt of Sainiks and TCPC is one of the renowned industrial unitof the District. Hence it is further wished that TCPC may incorporate newer products for better sales and growth. It is indeed a matter of pride that this institute is self-sustained and generating jobs for skilled workers and other staffwhich are beneficial to society in general. I wish them many more success stories.

TCPC as an Institute is known throughout Maharashtra as a Centre of Excellent products. However, a website has been designed to create better public awareness and knowledge. Training of Ex Servicemen has been completely stopped and Carpentry, Joinery and Clothing department have been retained to indulge in manufacturing of furniture items. Till about 2003 only the traditional furniture items were being manufactured however since then in vogue iand latest tems are being manufactured as per the demands of the customers. Various GovernmentDepartments , Schools Colleges, as well as private Institutes and Individuals are our clients. As on date nearly 10 Gram Panchayats have benefitted from the quality work done by TCPC. To keep space with the Market, couple of new machineries have ben procured as also a sample room has been created to display items.CCTV cameras have been installed to assist in monitoring day to day events to prevent any mishaps and assist in subsequent investigations. The MahaSainik Bhavan is a huge complex equipped with Dining Hall, Kitchen, Guest Rooms and Lawn with adequate open parking space, which is an ideal site to host social and official functions. Beautifully maintained Lawn and colorful surroundings makes it a happening place for Photo shoots at Satara.
