Establishment : The TCPC Satara was conceived and established under aegis of Late Sh Y B Chavan in 1959. Initially it was able to train and support rehabilitation of Ex Servicemen in civil life post-retirement. The Centre was registered as Small-Scale Industry in 1987 and has been successfully functioning since then as per the rules and regulations of the Government. It is a self-sustained unit which runs under the aegis of Sainik Welfare Department, Pune which has Financial and Administrative Control. Part of the profits of TCPC are remitted to Army Flag Day Fund which in turn is utilised for welfare of the ex-servicemen. Top quality Teak wood products are manufactured here which are aesthetic and cost effective. Every customer dream’s and demands quality, sturdy, strong and beautiful furniture.
