Establishment: The TCPC Satara was conceived and established under the aegis of Late Sh. Y. B Chavan in 1959. Initially, it was able to train and support the rehabilitation of Ex-Servicemen in civil life post-retirement. The Centre was registered as a Small-Scale Industry in 1987 and has been successfully functioning since then as per the rules and regulations of the Government. It is a self-sustained unit that runs under the aegis of the Sainik Welfare Department, Pune, which has Financial and Administrative Control. Part of the profits of TCPC are remitted to the Army Flag Day Fund, which in turn is utilized for the welfare of ex-servicemen. Top quality Teak wood products are manufactured here, which are aesthetic and cost-effective. Every customer's dream is to have quality, sturdy, strong, and beautiful furniture.
